TYPES OF LOVERS IN RELATIONSHIPS

TYPES OF LOVERS IN RELATIONSHIPS      By Nelson Kilonzo

Have you ever loved? Have you ever been loved? Have you ever been into a relationship? How did you feel to be in a relationship? Are you in a relationship right now? How are things going on? Just to begin with, LOVE is an identity. It’s something most of us are proud to have, share, feel and get into. Love is never merely an attribute of the mind but also is an important aspect to life as a whole-it takes the soul, mind and the body. People love for several reasons, I bet we all would want to hear this….but I wish we make this a subject for another day. Today, I wish we look at a very important aspect of all love relationships-the state of the lovers.
What about the state of a lover as they get into a relationship?  It’s all about what they got for the other party. Seems so simple, but indeed so complicated; as most of us will agree with me at the end. There are mainly three types and states of lovers:
Those who say: “I got my heart and my body ready. These are those so ready to offer both their body and heart. They will give their time, money, trust, thoughts…everything. They will do anything to remain in the relationships no matter how hard the storm hits the boat. These are the guys who really love by words and deeds. They will do everything to appreciate their ‘other parts’ as their own. They will take what they have to be theirs and will protect that as they would with their lives. These are those worthy guys and so hard to part with or loose.
The “I got my heart but my body is used”. Most of us, to be true will agree that the worth of a relationship is judged by the ‘material’ benefits. The ‘extrinsic’ motivation and rewards. Actually…the ‘nut’-if you know what I mean.  .These guys readily have their hearts to offer but…this is the problem…they aren’t ready to have their ‘nuts’ cracked out of the shell…or they do not want to let out their ‘puppies’ out of the kennel. It’s even worse when their nuts are cracked severally and there’s nothing more to crack or their puppies aren’t strong enough to bark. These guys are a problem to handle I tell you!
There’s the “I got my body but my heart is broken or is in a safe”. This type will give their ‘mines’ for mining or just simply give ‘their nuts for cracking and their puppies for play’ just coz’ they can’t keep without the pleasure. They at times pretend to be collecting the materials to mend their broken hearts or are trying to console themselves or even trying to hurt their ‘Exes’-these are just some of the wrong reasons I mentioned earlier. They will never be serious with any relationship and will readily ‘get in any bus leaving for any stage’.  Try not to hurt yourself by really loving this type coz' they will never get their hearts into the relationship.
Now we know the types of lovers we get with into relationships. Before settling in any relationship, try and know the type of lover you are as well as your ‘other part’ for this will make you give the expected and get what you expect…it’s the only way to survive in relationships. Good luck in your relationships!

THE DAWN IN MY HEART

THE DAWN IN MY HEART                BY Kilonzo M. Nelson

You just said you loved me…
But I loved you…
I thought that was enough,
I was stupid,
I did my part,
I loved you...
You seemed to care
But actually, you did not.

Every night that I cried,
It’s you who made me cry…
I thought you’d lay your shoulder for me
I thought you’d wipe my tears away…
But instead you left my side
Not even a piece of cloth to wipe my tear…

Ol’ times we shared
I regret I dint see it
That you never cared
You said you loved my beauty
That I was so sexy
And that you admired my looks
But now time’s gone
You pass your eyes to other beauties
You have their time, for me no talks
You left my heart a tunnel
As dark as a moonless night
No stars to shine
'Stead, so much cold….

All nights bring with them dawns
But long lonely nights…
Bring with them brighter dawns
I now see some light, just at the end of my tunnel
My night is just to end
And my dawn is here
My treasure, my joy
A time to pick up my pieces
The pieces to my broken heart!
A time to love and be loved
A time for...
The dawn in my heart!

AS YOU WALK AWAY

AS YOU WALK AWAY                By Nelson M. Kilonzo

When your hand slides off mine
As the words ‘Good bye’
Echo diminishingly at the back of my mind
I remember of your warm hugs…
The Kisses that filled my mouth…
How I felt with you by my side.

My cheek receives a warm tear
My body trembles in fear
Of the lonely feeling you leave in me
As you wave you hand
And walk away from me.

I open my mouth to shout
To call your name so loud,
I try to lift my left leg
To follow you,
But it feels too heavy for me
I just smile my tears away
Not for pain but for joy.

I feel it in my heart
As I see you wipe away your tears
As you walk away looking back at me
And hopelessly wave…
I feel it that I should not cry
For you walk away today
But someday…
My heart tells me…
That someday…just so soon
I will see you…
I will have you back in my arms.
